I am an historian, writer, and curator based in Los Angeles, CA.

My book, A Woman of Influence: The Spectacular Rise of Alice Spencer in Tudor England, reflects years of original scholarly research. It tells the story of Lady Alice Spencer, her relationship with her daughters, and how she used the labyrinthine court systems of England to bring her family to greater power.

I am devoted to historical thinking, primary source materials, and scholarly methodology. I am also a feminist with a deep love of Blackwing pencils, whiskey, and Vogue magazine.
